GAMCA, now known as Wafid is a medical check system that allows Kutch residents to get a test done before traveling to Gulf countries for employment. The Wafid system can help Kutch residents book an appointment.
The appointment booking is done online. The Wafid system will request data, passport numbers, nationality and the country the person is going to visit. Ensure that they match with the passport. Once the Wafid user submits the information and pays the fee the Wafid system will issue a medical appointment slip.
Appointment slip will indicate the name of the centre and the time of the appointment. The Wafid user has to read the slip carefully and on the day of the appointment the Wafid user has to appear at the Wafid‑approved centre with a valid passport and the appointment slip.
The medical examination may request for tests depending on the health guidelines of the Gulf country that the person will be visiting. The Wafid user has to adhere to the instructions from the centre
